Nevada Appeal at 150: Dec. 5, 1965: City Center motel project underway

Babbit Construction Company of Boise, Idaho, and Carson City commenced work on an 89-unit motel in downtown Carson City early last week. Charles E. Babbit, president of City Center Motel Corp., said the new fireproof, all concrete and steel structure will feature oversized rooms, a swimming pool and sun deck, elevators and a courtesy bus service.
