Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested for home invasion

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 8:15 a.m., a 50-year- old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long and Molly. Bail was set at $341.

At 1:29 p.m., a 25-year- old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and Rand. Bail was set at $2,687.

At 10:42 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2100 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,863.

THURSDAY

At 2:47 a.m., Tony Roten, 43, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony home invasion, drunken pedestrian and destruction of property after deputies responded to reports of a battery in progress near the 300 block of Adams Street. At the same incident, a 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal contempt. Bail for Roten was set at $27,525 and bail for the woman was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
