Information about being a Relay for Life team captain will be offered in Carson City Relay for Life’s “Team Captain Experience” from 1 to 5 p.m. March 19 at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
The event will include information, including toolkits to better coordinate fundraising goals, for Relay for Life members. Team members will obtain resources like tracking sheets for team totals, Relay track schedules, and more. Organizers say the event is a chance to set goals and reach fundraising milestones to save the lives that are affected by cancer.
“Paint your World Purple” is the theme for this year’s Relay for Life across the nation. Purple represents every type of cancer, and it is also the color for hope.
