Open burn permits available in Carson City

The Carson City Fire Department will be hosting a Spring 2016 open burn until April 10.

Residents have the opportunity to dispose of accumulated weeds and yard debris in a safe manner. Permits are required and must be obtained no less than 24 hours prior to conducting an open burn.

Permits are being issued on a walk-in basis at Station 51 at 777 Stewart Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at carson.org under the Fire Department Open Burning page.

All permits must have a valid permit number in order to conduct an open burn.
