Carson City Department of Motor Vehicles rolling out new appointment system

Following a pilot project in Reno, Carson City’s Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles office is offering appointments. Motorists can make an appointment up to 30 days in advance on the department’s website, dmvnv.com/dashpass.

The appointment capability is an enhancement to the DMV’s Dash Pass lobby management system. Walk-in customers are checked in using their cell phone number and Dash Pass sends status updates via text or phone call.
