The Statewide Toll-free Information/Referral Helpline for families with children who have special healthcare needs offers information about resources to deal with chronic illness, disabilities and other conditions.
The free help line, operated by Family TIES of Nevada, in partnership with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health Maternal and Child Health Program, is at 1-866-326-8437.
The help line offers information about emergency or basic needs assistance, disability resources, specialty care, public assistance programs, health services, community services, consumer assistance, transportation options, medical equipment, respite, behavioral health services or other supportive services. It operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
