Collier joins Charles Kitchen Realty

Cathie Collier has joined Charles Kitchen Realty. Collier brings 10 years of real estate experience and a commitment to provide excellent service to all of her clients. Collier has lived in Carson City for nearly 30 years.

“I am excited to join the Charles Kitchen Real Estate team,” she said.

She enjoys hiking, reading and camping.

Nourse promoted in architect firm

Daryl Nourse, a Carson High School graduate, was recently promoted to principal and partner of Reid Smith Architects in Bozeman, Mont. Nourse has been with the firm for 12 years.

Nonprofit dog kennel awarded grant

Community Foundation of Western Nevada awarded a $10,000 grant to Build a Rescue Kennels’s Safe Haven Rescue Kennels in Yerington.

The nonprofit said it will use the grant to improve the quality of life for the dogs who live their by updating its dog houses. The new social area enclosure will include new fencing so dogs can be introduced at Safe Haven safely and without distraction.
