Pioneer High School students recently returned from the Nevada HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) State Leadership Conference, with some second-year CTE students placing in the Public Health category.

During the event, students focused on career building, leadership development, and motivation through a series of workshops, competitive events, and industry networking with other Health Occupations students throughout the state. PHS offers a Health Information Management program that was featured as an educational symposium in this year’s conference and included contributions and support from the Nevada Department of Education, industry leaders, and Pioneer Health Information Management students.
