Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Two women arrested on suspicion of larceny

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 4:39 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City woman and a 49-year-old Gardnerville woman were arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a former employee taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250 each.

At 5:36 p.m., a 49-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Silver Sage Circle and Clearview Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
