The Churchill County High School track and field team is sponsoring the 12th annual Elementary School Track and Field Day on Friday, March 30 at 9 a.m. at the track of the Ed Arciniega Athletic Complex.
The meet is open for all third, fourth and fifth-grade students. Information has been distributed at the elementary schools.
Entrance forms need to be filled out and returned to the student’s school by Wednesday, March 23. Cost is $20 and allows students to participate in any or all events, which include jumping, sprinting, throwing and distance events.
All athletes will receive a T-shirt and awards will be given for the top six competitors in each event.
