League of Women Voters of Northern Nevada to meet April 16 at Carson City Adele’s

The League of Women Voters of Northern Nevada will hold its annual meeting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at Café at Adele’s, 1112 N. Carson St.

The non-partisan League is recruiting new members to join the organization, whose focus is on voter registration, access, information, and candidate forums. The League also advocates on a variety of social, educational and environmental issues as the federal, state, and local levels.
