Tuesday morning update: The Western Nevada College baseball team reached its fundraising goal late Monday night.

The Western Nevada College baseball team is raising funds to help offset the cost of travel to the Western District Tournament this Thursday through Saturday in Trinidad, Colorado. The team is trying to raise $12,000 by Tuesday and were more than halfway to its goal.
The Wildcats earned the right to advance to the tournament by winning the Region 18 tournament last weekend in Henderson.
