Women’s fashion from the Victorian Era — the 1850s through the early 20th Century — will be showcased in an annual fundraiser to benefit Friends of the Nevada State Museum.

The 4th annual Oh, My Bonnets and Bustles! fashion show is planned from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City.

The fashions to be showcased come from the collection of Tina Davis-Hersey and Carolyn Davis, in addition to costumes created by members of the Great Basin Costume Society.

The collection includes original outfits as well as costumes made from historical patterns. The show will follow a series of vignettes of daily Victorian life, from dressing in the morning to dancing in the evening.

A high tea reception with refreshments and silent auction will follow the show. Guests are encouraged to dress in period costume.

A limited amount of tickets will be sold for $25 at the Nevada State Museum store.

For more information, call Davis-Hersey at 775-671-2364.
