The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
MONDAY
At 9:20 a.m., a 19-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near State and William streets. Bail was set at $500.
At 1:45 p.m., a 19-year-old Truckee, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of failure to report an accident and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle driven into a residences’s front yard near the 3700 block of Lake View Road. The suspect was later apprehended near Northgate Lane and College Parkway after reports of a man lying on the sidewalk. Bail was set at $1,500.
At 6:05 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and battery on a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of an accident at the William Street Remedy’s Bar. Bail was set at $2,000.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
