The Fallon Police Department, in conjunction with the Churchill Community Coalition and the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office, participated in the National “Prescription Drug Take Back Program.”

A total of 13 boxes of prescription medications were collected, yielding a total weight of 244 pounds.

This total marks the most successful results since starting the program in the city of Fallon.

The medications collected have been delivered to the local Drug Enforcement Task Force members to be properly destroyed.

The above results are an indication of the value the program holds for our community, reports FPD.
