Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to sell

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 1:22 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction after reports of a suspicious subject near the Highway 50 Gold Dust West. Bail was set at $1,300.

At 5:14 p.m., a 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2300 block of Fairmont Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

THURSDAY

At 12:35 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear, obstruction and minor consuming alcohol after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 400 block of Lepire. Bail was set at $707.

At 1:32 a.m., Michael Segna, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing an officer and juvenile probation warrant after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 5100 block of Carson River Road. Bail was set at $11,250.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
