David Lee Meyer, 59, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his residence in Fallon, NV.
David was born October 28, 1957 in Granite City, ILL. He was the son of Edward and Elizabeth Lee Meyer of Madison, ILL.
Dave was in the United States Navy Construction Battalion, he retired after 20 years of duty to his country. He went to work for the State of Nevada Fire Marshalls office, retiring after 12 years. Dave was an active member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Preceded in death by his wife Linda Suzette Tsoodle Meyer on September 27, 2016.
Dave is survived by his sister and brother in-law, Shirley and David Wilkerson of Fallon; nephews, Brandon and Justin McMullen of Port St Lucie of Florida; Linda Sue’s children; Evelyn and Kenneth Nelson of Salt Lake City, UT; Dakota Hayes; Mato Ska Hayes ; numerous grandchildren.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11 AM at The Gardens Chapel with inurnment to follow in The Gardens, with Military Honors. A Potluck Gathering to follow at the VFW Hall.
