In honor of our veterans and active military personnel, Numa Elementary School’s Student Council led the school in a Veterans Day appreciation assembly on Thursday.

Students began by leading the audience with the Pledge of Allegiance; then Daniel Madera and Audrey Bell sang the national anthem.

Military personnel and veterans at the assembly were recognized and given a small, homemade token of appreciation, and select students read heart-felt letters they had written to their family members, thanking them for their honorable and dedicated service to America.
