A 3-D archery shoot is planned on Sunday, Dec. 4 to benefit an annual shopping spree for underprivileged children from Carson City.

The event will offer 15-25 3-D targets and unmarked yardage. Binoculars and range finders are allowed.

Registration starts at 9:30 and shooting begins at 10 a.m. The shoot will be held four miles east on Highway 50, past Deer Run Road. Turn left at the StorWise building and drive north until the road ends. Then turn right at the archery range sign and look for the green building.

The $10 per person fee will go to Carson City Sheriff’s Office’s annual Holiday with a Hero program, which pairs underprivileged children with public safety officers to shop for holiday presents.
