Robert Lyle Harrison passed away peacefully at Highland Manor in Fallon on November 16, 2016. Born in Vernal, Utah, he spent most of his life with his wife Mary in Fallon, Nevada.


Bob was a hardworking man who operated a loader for the Operating Engineers for many years before his retirement.


He enjoyed shooting black powder rifles, chukar hunting, and exploring the wide open spaces of Nevada.


Bob is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 63 years; brothers Lawrence and Kenneth Harrison; sister, Velma; grandson, Jeff Harrison; granddaughters, Emily Alexander and Crystal Brokaw; and four great-grandchildren.


Bob was interred at the Churchill County Cemetery on November 23, 2016 after a memorial service at The Gardens.


The family finds comfort that he is out of pain and wishes to thank all those who brought comfort and companionship to Bob, and his family during his living years, as well as after his passing.
