Man arrested after attempting to flee deputies says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

THURSDAY

At 7:28 p.m., Isai Ramirez, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation, violation of bail conditions, conspiracy, petit larceny warrant, petit larceny and obstructing an officer after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $5,050.

At 10:40 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions, obstructing a peace officer and resisting a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject at the Telegraph Street Blue Bull Bar. The suspect attempted to flee on foot from deputies and was apprehended near Musser and Valley streets. Bail was set at $3,550.

FRIDAY

At 12:31 a.m., a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, fictitious plates, driving with no license, no insurance and unregistered vehicle after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and Kansas Street. At the same incident, an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for the 26-year-old was set at $2,375 and bail for the 18-year-old was set at $1,060.

At 5:40 a.m., a 22-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant, driving on a suspended license and basic speed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Adams and Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,145.

At 8:09 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 600 block of Hot Springs Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 4:47 p.m., a 36-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:40 p.m., Caleb Hartman, 23, of Las Vegas, was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation, possession of marijuana, basic speed and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near S. Carson and Colorado streets. Bail was set at $1,665.

At 10:26 p.m., Harley Rough, 23, of Elko was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of suspicious subjects near the 200 block of David Street. Bail was set at $9,204.

SATURDAY

At 2:57 a.m., a 66-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs, failure to maintain a lane, driving without a valid driver’s license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and Saliman Road. Bail was set at $2,750.

At 10:10 a.m., a 26-year-old Sun Valley man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to a domestic dispute near the 1700 block of Russell Way. No bail was set.

At 5:19 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1000 block of Siskiyou Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 6:30 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a pedestrian stop near N. Carson and Adams Streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:45 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of civil protective custody after deputies responded to reports of a man in the roadway.

At 11:51 p.m., William Turtle-Nevers, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, obstruction, stop sign violation, basic speed, reckless driving, hit and run and a warrant after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop near South Carson and 10th streets. Turtle-Nevers attempted to flee from deputies, driving through a field and then attempting to flee on foot near the 2600 block of S. Carson Street. At the same incident, a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court. Bail for Turtle-Nevers was set at $15,025 and bail for the 25-year-old was set at $500.

SUNDAY

At 2:27 p.m., a 51-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of an accident at the Carson Street Kohl’s. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 9:24 p.m., a 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failure to appear, suspended registration, no valid driver’s license and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1400 block of Monte Rosa Drive. Bail was set at $2,330.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
