“I believe giving 60 seconds of your time to others makes the biggest difference.”

Randy was born in Redondo Beach, CA to George Reames and Lois Davis, 33 minute before her sister Sandy. They grew up in San Diego, CA, where she attended college. During her life she held many professions such as care giving, operating a catering truck, bartending and eventually restaurant ownership.

Her passions were cooking for her family and friends, her pets, wild horses and her many charitable endeavors, including the Northern Nevada Small Miracles Foundation, Carson Advocates for Cancer Care, and a supporter of wild mustang rescue, eventually earning a Jefferson Award in 1998.

She moved to Nevada in 1991 and made many friends in her 25 years here, and became known as ‘Mustang Sallie.’ She will be missed by all who knew her and leaves a mustang sized hole in our hearts.

She is survived by her parents George and Marilyn, her daughter Lyndsay and her husband Victor, her sister Sandy and her husband Ron, her nieces Tami, Sheri, and Kristi, and her extended and adopted family. She is preceded by her mother Lois Davis, her son Sean and her many pets.

Her memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Carson City on December 3, at 11 am with a reception to follow. The church is located at 212 N. Division. There will be a potluck reception to follow, all are welcome.
