FoodMaxx job fair; Carson City store to open Dec. 7

FoodMaxx is about to break into the Northern Nevada marketplace by debuting two new grocery stores in the coming weeks.

140 employees, 70 at each store, will be needed. FoodMaxx is hiring for all positions, full-time and part-time including, managers, cashiers, clerks, night crew and for the bakery, produce, meat and frozen departments.

One more job fair at a Nevada JobConnect location is still being held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at 2281 Pyramid Way in Sparks.

FoodMaxx offers competitive wages, benefits and flexible hours. The Sparks store is scheduled to open on November 16; and the Carson City store is scheduled to open on December 7.

FoodMaxx is one of the brands operated by The Save Mart Companies, a family-owned grocery chain based in California’s Central Valley.
