An arrest has been made in the connection of a shooting death of a Silver Springs man.
Santiago “Sonny’ Fernandez, 45, of Silver Springs, was arrested Sunday in connection with the shooting death of Robert Buchanan III, 48, also of Silver Springs.
Fernandez is being held in the Lyon County Detention Center in Yerington.
Fernandez is charged with open murder to include an enhancement for use of a deadly weapon. He’s being held without bail.
