Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of failure to register as sex offender, ex-felon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 1:21 p.m., a 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 1500 block of Gregg Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 2:30 p.m., Cody Larson, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony sex offender failed to register, felony embezzlement, felony fugitive from justice, felony sex offender fail to update, failure to appear and ex-felon failed to register after deputies conducted a warrant service near Clear Creek Road. Bail was set at $22,005.

At 11:18 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI- second offense and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 4100 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,600.

WEDNESDAY

At 2:55 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, suspended registration, failure to maintain a lane and contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Nevada and Fleischman. Bail was set at $4,090.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
