Just one goodbye

When will the monsters die?

All at once, just one goodbye

Your appetite for glory

Feeds your lust for hate

You breed amongst the living

They die so you’ll feel great

Monsters carving up the weak

Fear overwhelms so the words can’t speak

They lie in wait to see

Which ones will break in two

Their hate is taught through pain

Then they share the black and blue

The monsters live in girls and boys

They bully the souls they choose to destroy

Hiding through the night

The day can’t see their eyes

Their minds can’t feel the hope

Their bruised bodies they disguise

A breaking point for one

Be it pills, a noose or a gun

There’s nothing left to be

When even happiness isn’t your friend

You’re lost forever young

So you choose your life to end.
