The following events are being hosted by Tahoe Douglas Elks, 1227 Kimmerling Road in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
Grill Your Own Steak is from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 19. The $14 cost includes baked potatoes, salad, baked beans, dessert and rib eye steaks. RSVP is required by calling Jim Schramm at 783-4224 or Jim Plamenig at 310-874-4655.
Taco Night from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 offers tacos for $3 each. The buffet includes beans, chips, salsa, and dessert. Pulled pork sandwiches will be sold for $4 each. Call 775-265-1723 or 775-267-1367.
The monthly family breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25 will offer eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, bacon, sausage, an omelet bar, coffee and juice. The cost is $7 for Elks and their spouses; $4 for children of Elks; $8 for non-Elks and $5 for children of non-Elks. Call 775-782-8191.
Food and drinks will be on hand at the club’s annual flea market from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 1.
