Elks Lodge of Carson City seeking animal hides to make gloves for veterans

Hunters are asked to help the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 2177 of Carson City make gloves for local veterans in wheelchairs.

To help, save deer, elk and antelope hides; salt them down, roll them up, hair side out or lay them flat. Then call Wayne Willson at 775-530-7351 or Al 775-267-9167 to pick them up.

The hides will be made into gloves to be distributed at no cost to local veterans in wheelchairs.
