Girls ages 8-16 and their parents are invited to attend a painting in the park event sponsored by Carson Assembly No. 7, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
An instructor will be on hand teaching attendees how to paint at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in Mills Park. Everyone who participants will leave with their own completed painting.
To attend the free event, meet near the tennis courts in Mills Park. Reservations are required by calling Michelle Jacobs at 775-721-2386.
