5th Annual CASI Fun Run/Walk returning to Carson City Sept. 18

Carson Animal Services Initiative’s 5th Annual 5K9 Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, Sept. 18, will benefit Catmandu, a cage-free cat adoption center.

The event at 9 a.m. will be at Riverview Park on East Fifth Street. Check-in is from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.

Although every participant will receive a free gift, awards will be given to the first male and female finishers.

Registration costs $15 in advance. Registration on race day costs $20 per person. Register in advance at CASI’s website, www.friendsofcasi.org, and fill out the waiver form on the day of the race.
