A celebration of all things cars is rolling into the Brewery Arts Center.

The Nevada Artists Association Gallery, inside the BAC, is the site of “Four Wheels Now and Then,” a collection of local artists’ renditions of the almighty automobile.

The exhibit opened Sunday and will continue through Oct. 21.

NAA members were asked to submit art they have done previously or created for this show that highlights cars or trucks, both old and new. The result — 40 submissions of paintings, photos, drawings, and digital renderings by artists from throughout the Carson Tahoe region including Reno, Dayton and Carson Valley.

The people’s choice exhibition invites visitors to vote for their favorite pieces to determine the winner.

In addition to the art display, a car show is planned from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 1 in conjunction with the Carson City Wine Walk.

The show and shine car show will feature local and regional classic and custom cars. Visitors and Wine Walk participants also are asked to pick their favorite car or truck.

The NAA Gallery at the Brewery Arts Center is at 449 W. King St.

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Admission is free and all art is for sale.
