Fremont Elementary School held a dedication ceremony Sept. 8 of the Robin Ross Library in honor of the teacher and literacy coach who passed away last year after a lengthy illness. Ross’ colleagues felt the library was a fitting symbol of her love of literacy and lifelong learning. Nanette Oleson, a local artist and former Fremont counselor, was commissioned to paint the reading cove with illustrations that honor the life and spirit of Ross.
