Nothing to It Culinary Center in Reno holding cooking class Sept. 24

Enjoy breakfast fresh from the farm and a cooking class at Nothing to It Culinary Center from 10 a.m. to noon on Sept. 24.

The cooking class will feature a recipe from NevadaGrown: A Year in Local Food. The culinary center is at 225 Crummer Lane in Reno. .

Pumpkin blueberry muffins, caramelized onion breakfast bake and honey oatmeal bars are a few of the cookbook recipes to be demonstrated, all made with ingredients fresh from the farm. Farmer Arnold Carbone of Glorious Garlic Farm will share his cooking skills with two potato recipes; and Teri Gibson, Peri & Sons Onions, and Wendy Baroli, Girlfarm, will talk about their farm and ranch operations.
