To celebrate the first few days of fall, Nevada Humane Society is hosting Fall in Love, a campaign that offers discounted adoption rates on cats and dogs.

Through Oct. 2, adult dogs can be adopted for $50, adult cats under the age of three for $25, adult cats over the age of three for free and kittens for $60. All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, services which normally cost over $240.

“As the weather begins to cool off, an adorable pet will bring more than just the benefit of companionship — they keep you warm at night too! Fall in Love with a dog or a cat and gain a cozy, cuddle buddy just in time for the changing seasons!” said Kimberly Wade, Senior Manager of Communications and Events for Nevada Humane Society. “Our animals have so many different personalities and interests and they’re just waiting for someone to Fall in Love with them!”

Nevada Humane Society is open for adoptions seven days a week at two locations from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and an hour earlier at 10 a.m. on Saturday. For pet adoptions in Reno, visit 2825 Longley Lane. For pet adoptions in Carson City, visit 3770 Butti Way.
