Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on July 10, 1950 to wonderful parents, Edward W. and Donnabelle Stange Jr. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark Stange of Albuquerque, NM.

Survived by husband Cliff Buttler of Carson City, sister, Sherry Von Stange of Carson City, brothers Edward Stange III, David (June) Stange both of Albuquerque, NM, brother Phil (Pat) Von Stange of Hendersen, Nevada.

Debi had a fantastic childhood, growing up in the country in a home built by her parents and uncles. Along with 4 brothers and one sister, several cousins lived close by, therefore hardly a day went by where “the kids” were not outside playing and interacting in the many activities they found to do. From baseball, hiking, swimming, diggin, climbing and playing “King of the Hill”.

In 1958, following two uncles, dad moved the family to Albuquerque, New Mexico.Every Sunday he would take the family out to explore the southwest, a favorite were the ghost towns.

After high school, Debi joined her siblings in the music business. A bass player was needed so Debi’s brother Dave, an accomplished guitarist taught Debi to play bass guitar. She was a natural and played professionally for 15 years, traveling with many groups, several involving her siblings and husband Cliff.

In 1985, Debi and Cliff moved to Carson City and were employed by the Nuggett Casino. Debi put in 20 years working from slots to supervisor.

Debi and Cliff loved their dogs and camping and fishing. Often joined by one of their many friends.

Debi was always there, ready to help a friend in need.

Debi passed away from complications of Alzheimers Disease.

The family would like to thank the excellent care given to Debi from the Rehab and Staff from the Ormsby Rehab and L.T.A.C.H
