Thomas the Tank Engine rides returning to V&T Railroad in Virginia City

Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to team up with him for a day of family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016.

Thomas will pull into Virginia City on Oct. 21-23 and 28-30. The event, presented by Fisher-Price, offers 25-minute rides and Thomas & Friends activities for children of all ages.

The tour, now in its 21st year, will make 43 stops across the U.S. and Canada, and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers this year.

Thomas the Tank Engine rides depart every 60 minutes’ rain or shine. Departure times begin at 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. each day. Tickets are $19 each and $15 per person for anyone in a group of 20 or more.
