Frank Worn Cronk, 90, a Carson City resident for the past 46 years, died September 15, 2016, in Carson City, NV.

Mr. Cronk was born December 22, 1925, in the Town of Madge, WI to Frank Worn and Rachel Luvena Koger Cronk.

He married Laura B. Butterbaugh on January 8, 1955, in Las Vegas, NV. Before moving to Carson City, he lived with his wife and daughter in Temple City, CA. Before he married Laura, Mr. Cronk was a World War II Marine Corps Veteran (Pacific).

In 1990, he retired from his career as a manufacturing engineer having worked for De Mornay Bonardi, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Mallory Ignition, and Hamilton Company.

He enjoyed wood working, fishing, and cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a half-brother, three half-sisters, two grandchildren, and wife of over 50 years, Laura.

Among his survivors is his partner, of the last eleven years, Margaret Keebler, his son Rodger Tursky (Carolyn) of Orange City, FL, and daughter Paula Bennett (Douglas) of Carson City, NV; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV.
