Norma and Morris Agnew were married on this day in 1948.
Norma and Morris Agnew of Carson City are celebrating their 69th anniversary today.
The Agnews were high school sweethearts before they married on April 16, 1948 in Inglewood, Calif.
Morris is retired from the military and University of Nevada, Reno. Norma is a retired teacher and State of Nevada employee.
The couple has two daughters, Kathy and Sharon, both of Carson City; as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with the seventh due in September.
The Agnews have been residents of the capital city for more than 35 years.
