Commission to recognize Eagle Scout, discuss hazard plan

The Churchill County Board of Commissioners will meet today at 1:15 p.m. in the chambers at 155 N. Taylor St.

The commission will consider and take possible action regarding the following:

Bureau of Land Management Carson City District update with special recognition of Eagle Scout Matt Moyle II, who completed a project at the Lee Hot Springs for the BLM.

Community support funding application from the Lahontan Valley Claybreakers for the 2017 Claybreakers Trapshooting Season.

Amendment approval for the Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund Contract No. CW1705 with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection for the Casey Road Mobile Home Park Water and Sewer Improvements.

Adoption of the Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan conditionally approved by FEMA.

Medical and dental insurance renewal for county employees and retirees.

Agreement with Joe S. Adams for safety consulting services.

Resolution #16417 supporting Western Nevada College’s effort as it reactivates the Fallon campus’ Rural Nursing Program.

County building official stipend for performing construction administration duties related to the new detention and senior centers.

Social Services notifications of indigent burial application receipts pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statues.

Affidavit for mailing delinquent tax notices from the clerk/treasurer.

Recorder’s monthly apportionment report, third quarterly report of real property transfer tax and third quarterly report of mining claim filing fees. Also the Senior Center’s newsletter, menu and activity calendar. Additionally the sheriff as well as the treasurer’s monthly report and the Building Department’s revenue report.
