On February 21, 2017, Geneva “Sue” Johnson was called home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Sue was born in Oklahoma to James & Bertha Ladd on May 17, 1942. She graduated from Sutter High School and California State University, Sacramento in 1966.
She’s been a resident of the Lake Tahoe/Carson City area for over 25 years, and she worked as an accountant for most of her life. She was a quiet and conservative woman who loved her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and husband Wayne Johnson.
She is survived by her son, James (Sheryl) Pennington; daughter Kimberle (Bryan) McKee; grandchildren Tyler VanSickle, Courtney and Madison McKee and many other family members.
Services will be held at Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church on May 6, 2017 from 3-5 pm.
