1931 ~ 2017
Patricia June Williams (age 86) passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.
Pat was born in Ohio on June 15, 1931. She moved to Stockton, CA when she was 12 years old. After graduating she attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton. She married Darrell Stanley (divorced 1967) with whom she had four children.
After moving to Lake Tahoe in 1961, Pat went on to serve two terms as the Douglas County Auditor-Recorder (1967-1975).
She married Robert Williams in 1975. They had one child. In 1980 the Williams family moved to the valley, first in Minden then Gardnerville.
Pat is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Williams of Gardnerville; son William Stanley (and wife Vicki, of Gardnerville); son Robert Stanley (Idaho); daughter Ellen Stanley (Gardnerville); daughter Laura Valentine (Reno); daughter
Michelle Lindsey (Gardnerville); nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Walton’s Funeral Home, 1521 Church St., Gardnerville.
