Appeal readers benefit from diversity of opinions
I read the Appeal almost every day. I enjoy your letters to the editor. I understand that Northern Nevada is politically conservative, so I understand the Appeal’s conservative leanings. Your readers are mostly locals. When they write to you on political items, they are generally conservative thoughts.
Don’t get me wrong, your letters do have a smattering of all views. Several weeks ago you had a brief letter from a Lynn Muzzy that caught my attention. On July 2 you published another letter from Muzzy that caught my attention.
His letter was almost verbatim the comments of the Breitbart spokesperson on Sirius radio. Hopefully Muzzy can write with a little deeper thought in his next letter to the editor.
On July 9, there were five letters to the editor. All were written with purpose and thought. Come on, people. Keep up the good work!
