Officers respond to man undressing in park, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 11:19 a.m., a 30-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol in a park and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a man taking his clothes off in Mills Park. Bail was set at $200.

At 12:44 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, suspended registration, no proof of insurance and tail lamps violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Division and William Streets. Bail was set at $1,675.

At 1:30 p.m., a 33-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a man bothering patrons at the Highway 50 Golden Gate Petroleum. Bail was set at $150.

At 1:54 p.m., a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of driver’s license suspended, no vehicle insurance and stop sign violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th Street and Carson River Road. At the same incident, a 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence. Bail for the man was set at $1,150 and bail for the woman was set at $1,000.

At 5:26 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a warrant service at the Carson Street Frontier Motel. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:57 p.m., Chase Morse, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2800 block of Century Drive. At the same incident, a 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court, no proof of insurance, no valid driver’s license and stop lamp out. Bail for Morse was set at $3,500 and bail for the woman was set at $3,725.

At 9:30 p.m., a 54-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking shoes from the 3200 block of Market Street. Bail was set at $750.

FRIDAY

At 2:42 a.m., a Silver Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Proctor and Plaza Streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
