Part of Combs Canyon Drive is down to one lane of traffic after part of the road gave way, exposing underground utilities.

A 100-foot section of the west side of the road, 1/8 of a mile south of Lakeview Road, is expected to be closed for four weeks.

Carson City Public Works is asking the public to avoid driving on Combs Canyon Drive and is advising Lakeview residents to access the subdivision from Highway 395.

For more information, call Public Works at 887-2355.

For current information on weather and road closures visit www.carson.org.

A Flood Hotline at 887-2355 has been designated for flood-related reporting and questions that aren’t life-threatening.

The city also asks drivers to be careful of city crews working to mitigate and assess storm damage.
