Woman arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 2:30 p.m., a 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to pay fine and failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of a man possibly trying to steal items at the Roop Street Carson City Library. Bail was set at $1,048.

At 4:48 p.m., a 33-year-old Henderson man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence warrant after deputies responded to reports of a hit and run near Washington and Roop streets. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:12 p.m., Elena Ruset, 22, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, felony burglary and child endangerment after deputies responded to reports of several people taking items from the Fairview Drive CVS Pharmacy. The suspect was located at the Highway 50 FoodMaxx. Bail was set at $52,500.

At 11:49 p.m., Christopher Wilson, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon warrant and battery after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1300 block of Parkland Avenue. Bail was set at $25,000.

THURSDAY

At 12:50 a.m., Amber Lehr, 36, of Minden was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration, no registration certificate, no driver’s license in possession and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Winnie and Ash Canyon. Bail was set at $6,660.

At 4:12 a.m., Jason Osborne, 50, of Mound House, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, disobedience to a traffic control device and no valid proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and Saliman Road. Bail was set at $5,640.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
