Churchill County Road Dept. worked Friday on shoring up the banks along the Carson River near several homes. Because of higher flows being planned for the Carson River, the county is planning to close Bafford Lane except for local traffic.
School bus stops have been re-established for Bafford Lane/Old River Road and Bafford Lane/Indian Lakes Road.
