Anne Macquarie, chair of the Legislative Committee of the Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club and a Nevada Appeal contributor, is visiting the Douglas County Democratic Women on March 6.
Macquarie’s presentation, “State and Environmental Concerns,” at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden will cover what is happening at the Nevada Legislature and how the Trump administration is impacting environmental issues.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch at noon. The cost is $20 with reservations and $22 without reservations.
