Dolores was born August 31, 1928 in Minot, North Dakota to Winifred and Conrad Kvalvik. She grew up in Antler, North Dakota, (a small town 60 miles north of Minot). Dolores acquired her nickname Connie from local townspeople who would see her following her dad around. They referred to her as Little Con, later changed to Connie.

Connie married Henry William (Bill) White June 24, 1946 in Scoby, Montana, and they enjoyed 63 years together.

Connie’s creative side was expressed through her beautiful paintings and sewing. She discovered her love of Slovenian music and learned to play a Slovenian Button Accordion. Connie loved dancing and spending time with friends and family.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her brother Kenneth, and her sister Carol. She is survived by sons Kenneth (Shirley), Raymond (Jacqueline), and daughter Galeyn (Thomas) Molnar, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Connie left us to rejoin Bill on June 30, 2017.

She was an inspiration to many people and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, 306 West Musser Street, Carson City.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
