The Carson City Natives & Newcomers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for lunch and a program at Betsy’s Café inside SlotWorld on Highway 50.
The guest speaker will be Rpwamda Abend from the Classic Cinema Club, which meets monthly at the Brewery Arts Center.
Since, like Natives & Newcomers, the movie club helps Carson City’s Children in Transition program, the two organizations are considering a merger.
The program will be followed by a business meeting.
