The chance to learn a new craft is being offered as part of the Silver State Art Festival, coming to Carson City’s Fuji Park Sept. 22-24.
Featuring three days of gourd and basketry classes, the festival offers 19 classes covering skills like carving, beading, weaving and wood burning.
The classes feature experienced instructors versed in working with dyes, tools and gourds.
